Rog Lee — Performing Artist

A resident of DeBary and Volusia County for over thirty years, award-winning songwriter and performing artist Rog Lee is a favorite among area venues and Florida folk festivals alike. Winner of the 2008 Will McLean Foundation's “Best New Florida Song,” he was also chosen for the Will McLean “Top Ten” pick in 2007, 2010, and 2011.  He placed third in this year's competition for best new Florida song with his original work "Florida, No Appointments, and a Full Tank of Gas."  A strong environmentalist, in 2008 he was a recipient of the Bob Owens Environmental Award.

He led our production with a rousing singalong of two songs from the 1860s and provided wonderful musical accompaniment throughout our play.  He is a gifted and versatile artist, not to mention a great Floridian!
